Senggigi Beach

This beach has 10 km long, located at Senggigi, Lombok. The sand is pure white and some black, really unique. The coastline is straight and long. Here you can also snorkeling. Don’t worry if you do not like water sports, because the waves are calm and safe for beginners. If you look far ahead, then you will see Bali island from a distance.

Senggigi is the best destination on Lombok, because it has adequate support facilities. In fact, Senggigi is also a tourist destination with the easiest access on Lombok island. This beach can reach about 2 hours from Lombok International Airport. About 12 kilometers from Mataram capital city.

The best moment is in the afternoon. Come in the afternoon, prepare your camera, and you'll see the beauty of sunset.

Gili Trawangan

Gili Trawangan is the most exotic island in Lombok. The underwater scenery is very beautiful, so you have to make Gili Trawangan as one of the main destination when spending time in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

If you want to see the underwater sights more clearly, the choice is snorkeling and diving. This beach has calm waves, making you feel at home for lingering over a blue coral and a variety of beautiful fish. This area is also very green with a line of spruce, acacia, palm trees and thatched houses from local residents.

This island is only 2 km long and 1.5 km wide. Travelers only need 2 hours to get around Gili Trawangan. In addition to seeing the beauty of this island, you will also meet many local residents of this island. The friendliness of local people is another attraction in Gili Trawangan. So, you don’t have to fear getting lost because they will tell you the right way.

Mount Rinjani

Mount Rinjani is the second highest mountain in Indonesia which is a National Park covering an 41,330 hectares area. The mountain is located in the northern Lombok and has 3,726 meters high. If you want to climb this mountain, it's better if you have to learn the route that used by climbers.

Trip to climb Mount Rinjani summit takes about 3 days. The climb may take longer if you want to see some other object, such as the Gua Susu dan mount Baru Jari.

To reach Mount Rinjani, you can go straight to Sembalun or Senaru village from Mataram city. If using public transport, you can start it from Mandalika Mataram terminal using the bus to Anyar for Rp.15000, about 2.5 hours drive. From Anyar, you must use local vehicles called "bemo" to Senaru. Or if you prefer to start the climb through Sembalun, then from the terminal directly to Aikmel, from Aikmel you can get the bus again to Sembalun.

Sade Village

Sade is an oasis for those who like traditional and natural paced life. Sade is located in Pujut district, Central Lombok regency, is 30 kilometers from Mataram city. This village is located on the edge of  Praya-Kuta highway. You will not be difficult to find, because there is a large board as a sign.

The village is very unique, especially in the shape and construction of the house, making it very easy to see. The houses in this village are made of bamboo which is sometimes combined with wood. This houses has very unique interior, consisting of two rooms, the front room and the back. To enter the space you have to pass through a small wooden door.

The village is inhabited by local residents called “Sasak”. They are indigenous Lombok who embraced Islam Telu Wektu which is Islam that has Hinduism and Buddhism elements. Besides Muslims, this village is also inhabited by minority groups Bodha. Adherents of Bodha still believe Buddhism mixed with animism. Sade village communities was rejected modernization. They live comfortably in their own way.

Malimbu Hill

Malimbu hill is a plateau canal area of Senggigi Beach, located in West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Here you will get a very good shooting angle. From the top of the hill you will see very beautiful white sand stretching in front of you.

If you like the sunset atmosphere, this spot is perfect for a main destination. The natural beauty of Malimbu, especially when the sunset has made many travelers take the time to stop for a moment.

It is take about 30 minutes from the city of Mataram to Malimbu Hill.

Kuta Beach Lombok

Bali has Kuta Beach, which has an all-round bustle. South Lombok also has a beach with the same name and beauty. The difference here is much more calm and peaceful.

Kuta Beach is the most famous tourist destinations in South Lombok. Located at 56 km from Mataram city at Kuta village. This beach has clean white sand, blue and very clear. The area is surrounded by hills. From a distance, it looks like the green hills surrounding the beach.

Because the water is very clear, so you can snorkeling here. The waves are also good, you can surf, although is not very optimal like in Bali.
Kuta Beach is about 1.5 hour drive from Mataram city. You should rent a car with about Rp. 200.000 a day. Some hotels that you can use to get longer down the coast is the Novotel Lombok Hotel Kuta, Kuta Indah Hotel or Tastura Beach Resort.

Sendang Gile Waterfall

The waterfall is located about 80 km from Mataram, in the Senaru village, Bayan district. Sendang Gile waterfall is one of the destinations before climbing to the top of Rinjani. If you don’t want to explore the mountains, Sendang Gile can be your main attraction.

Sendang Gile waterfall has about 35 meters high, and is the highest compared with two other waterfalls in the Mount Rinjani National Park area.

The waterfall is not too far away, you'll only spend about 15 minutes from the walking track to Mount Rinjani. The road to the waterfall is well organized, so you don’t have to fear going lost. At least there are 500 steps that must pass before finally seeing the beauty of Sendang Gile.

Tanjung Ringgit

Do you want to hunt a Beautiful photographs? Come to Tanjung Ringgit, Jerowaru District, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. You will be treated to an incredible natural landscape. In the morning, you will see the sun rise slowly from Sumbawa island and emit light illuminates the earth. Very beautiful.

The beauty of Tanjung Ringgit also located on the beach that surrounded by hills. You can get an interesting view here. From the top of hill, you can see the ocean, which has shades of several colors as well as dark blue, light blue and toska and steep cliffs that surround it. These cliffs bordering the beautiful Tanjung Ringgit. Well if you want a down to play on the beach, you should think again because the route to go down very steep. Be careful not to slip.

The beach below the cliff is perfect for snorkeling. To find dive spots, you have to ride the fishing boats and pay about 50,000. Tanjung Ringgit underwater scenery is also very nice. Perhaps because it is rarely visited by tourists, so the marine life is still natural.
